
Welcome to Seaman High School, a grade 9-12 school with a approximate enrollment of 1,140 students and approximately 90 certified staff.
All-City Wrestlers
All 13 of Seaman's varsity wrestlers received at least honorable mention on the All City Wrestling Squad. Bret Simmons, Hunter Garrett, Bryant Guillen, Cole Schreiner, and Steven Cooksley received first team honors, while Adam Tignor, Sam Blindt, and Nate Stanley were named to the second team. Congratulations to all on a great season!
District Activity Night-March 11
Congrats to our Lady Vikes Basketball team for making it to the State Tourney!! We are sure that many loyal Viking supporters will go to the game to cheer them on! For those of you who are not attending the game, please come join us at an action-packed Fitness Night this Thursday, March 11, at Seaman High School from 6:30-8:00 PM. There will be TONS of activities including Volleyball Stations with Coach Cowhick, an Inflatable Bounce House/Slide, Preschool Tumbling and games, Bowling, Turtle Races, Dancing, Chair Aerobics/Abdominal Workout with Darren from Interactive Physical Therapy and Fitness and LOTS LOTS more!!!

Regional Journalism Winners!!
Congrats to Caitlin Wienck and Christina Butler. They were regional winners at Kansas Scholastic Press Association competition. Caitlin will be competing in editorial cartoons and Christina will compete in news writing at the state level. Christina Butler's story about the districts 10-year plan was also selected to be on the national edition of the high school journalism Web page.
Yearbook Spring Cleaning!!
The yearbook staff needs closet space, so we've been housecleaning. We've found old yearbooks from 1984-2004 that we want to get rid of quick. The price is right. Only $10. Just contact Mrs. Neiman at 286-8300 with the year you've been searching for, and we'll do our best to accommodate you.
Seaman Lady Vikes Headed to State Playoffs
Congratulations to the Seaman Lady Vikes for winning the 5A Sub-State Basketball Tournament this past weekend. Coach Alexander and his team have now qualified for the 5A State Tournament at the Topeka-Expo starting this Thursday, March 11. Thursday, March 11: #7 Seaman (16-6) vs. #2 St. Thomas Aquinas (21-1) starting at 6:30 PM
Tickets are: $6 for Adults & $5 for Students
Expo Parking Fees: $3 per car (The KSHSAA derives no revenue from the EXPO parking fees)
